Lincoln Live
Lincoln Interactive is proud to introduce Lincoln LIVE for the 2008/2009 school year.
Lincoln LIVE is a virtual classroom experience offered in real time with a highly qualified teacher.
Students will report to class at a scheduled time when they will receive teacher instruction as well
as opportunities for discussion and cooperative learning.
There are 2 options for Lincoln LIVE:
Option 1:
Lincoln LIVE follows a set schedule and school calendar for the courses (listed below)
that any student may select. Each class meets for one hour, three days a week (Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday). Students will work independently on the days (Tuesday and Thursday)
when they do not receive live instruction.
Lincoln LIVE is offering courses in the following subject areas:
- Spanish 1
- French 1
- Chinese 1
- Geometry
- Pre-Algebra
- Algebra
Mathematics courses will have a capacity of 20 students. World Language courses
will have a capacity of 15 students. There will be a waiting
list for the classes that are filled.
Option 1 Pricing:
Single student enrollment per semester class includes the following:
- Live instruction provided by a Highly Qualified Teacher
- Lincoln Interactive course
Option 2:
Lincoln LIVE will also provide a virtual class for each school, consortium of
school districts, or educational agency that can fill a class of 20 students for
any course Lincoln LIVE offers. Each class will meet for one hour three days a week
(Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) or one and a half hours two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday).
The school or educational agency will determine the time that the class meets.
Students will work independently on the days when they do not receive live instruction.
Option 2 Pricing:
A single semester class of 20 students includes the following:
- Live instruction provided by a Highly Qualified Teacher
- Lincoln Interactive course
Payment is due at the time of scheduling.
** If a school cannot fill the 20 seats, payment will be made for the entire
semester class but the available seats can be offered to students in other
districts. If any of the empty seats are filled, the school will receive a
credit for those seats.
