The Courses and Assessment
A typical Lincoln Interactive course is organized into 4 units of 10 lessons each. Each lesson incorporates key concepts (the learner objectives), reinforcement, and enrichment activities. These activities take the form of web investigations, podcasts, interactive labs, PowerPoint presentations, videos, songs, and games. Designed to be completed in a typical 18 to 20 week semester, course work averages about one or two hours per day for most students.
Courses are continuously being updated, revised, and improved to ensure that they conform to our own standards of quality and rigor. Most courses make use of current publications and are supported with additional online materials as needed. Where feasible, courses are designed to use online texts or to be textbook-free.
Students interact online with teacher facilitators to ask questions, receive answers, submit assignments, quizzes, and tests, and to receive feedback and grades. Clients receive regular contact from the Account Mangers in our Client Services Department to monitor overall progress.
