Spanish III Part 2:


Before enrolling in Spanish III Part 2, students should have successfully completed Spanish III Part 1, or equivalent course work. Students will acquire more extensive topical vocabulary. They will also gain a higher understanding of complex grammatical structures, verb applications, and idiomatic expressions to increase reading and listening comprehension as well as fluency in speaking and writing. Students will read excerpts from narratives, informational essays, Internet sites, and newspaper articles. They will then answer questions, use the dictionary, and analyze and summarize their readings. Students will practice and develop their reading comprehension and writing skills. Students will describe, analyze, summarize, and explain ideas verbally and in writing in the target language.
