Advanced French Part 1:


Students must have successfully completed all French courses up to and including French III Part 2 or equivalent course work before enrolling in Advanced French Part 1, which is a highly developed course that will train students in all four basic skills and provide them with a foundation in French and francophone history and culture. Students will read a variety of texts including poems, narratives, novel excerpts, play excerpts, and modern articles pertaining to news and current events. To express themselves more accurately, students will review French grammar from articles, and they will practice the conjugation of French verbs through the exact use of advanced grammar tools.
